Creating A Google Account From Scratch

A Google account is an indispensable tool for any business owner. It allows a user to use essential (and free!) business applications. Gmail, the free email, and Google Calendar are just two that are absolutely vital to many businesses.
To register for a Google Account you need to decide whether or not you have an email you would like to register with Google. If that answer is "No," keep reading. If the answer is "Yes," check out our tutorial on how to Register an Existing Account with Google.
You need to have an email address to create a Google Account. If you have a Gmail account, the email provided by Google, you already have a Google Account. We will kill the email and Google Account birds with one stone here and create a Gmail Account.

1. Navigate to http://www.gmail.com.
2. Click the Create an Account Button.
3. Fill out the form, which includes First Name, Last Name, Desired Login Name, Password, Security Question, Answer, Recovery Email, Location, Birthday and a Word Verification field.

3. Click on I accept. Create my account.
4. If you see the following screen, your account is set up and you can click "Show me my account" to go to your email account.
